Kiwi is a delicious fruit that has become very popular in recent years. They are used in many drinks, deserts, and many recipes. Eating kiwi fruit is clearly a healthy choice, and it is particularly useful in these cases:

Reduce blood clots. Eating 2-3 Kiwis a day can significantly lower blood clot risk and reduce blood lipids, according to a report just published by the University of Oslo. You can significantly lower your risk for blood clots by eating kiwi fruit as platelet aggregation reduction of 18% takes place which further reduces the amount of fats, and leads to 15% of reduction of triglycerides in your blood.

Protects against asthma. Studies have shown that kiwi and citrus are also effective against respiratory-related health problems including wheezing, shortness of breath, and high coughing.

Reduces the risk of heart diseases. Kiwifruit contains huge amount of Vitamin E. which is a potent antioxidant in reducing the risk of heart diseases. Kiwi is also rich in antioxidants and enzymes.

Kiwis are rich in many vitamins, flavonoids and minerals
. They contain nearly as much potassium as bananas and more Vitamin C than oranges. It is also rich in beta-carotene, Vitamins A, Vitamin E, magnesium, copper, phosphorous, carotenoids, and polyphenols.

Protects against cancer. Researchers have also found that the antioxidants in kiwi fruit offer a protective effect for DNA in the nucleus of human cells. They have not yet determined which of the variety of antioxidants contained in kiwi fruit are providing this protection.

Kiwi has a high fiber content
that will help prevent colon cancer. This fruit is also good for snacks and can aid in weight control. Each fruit contains around forty-six calories and is packed with nutrition.
