
Kuwait Scorpions, the oldest rugby football club in the Gulf. They were established in the late 1940’s after the Kuwait Oil Company and the British Army played the region’s first ever recorded rugby fixture.
Today the Scorpions have over 200 playing members of all ages from more than 18 different countries including Kuwait, Iran, Lebanon and Egypt. In addition there are many hundreds of supporting members in Kuwait and throughout the world. The Scorpions is now the biggest expatriate organization in the country and association with the Club provides wide-spread exposure both here and throughout the Gulf region.
The KSRFC Club consists of:
• Mens’ senior team
• Ladies’ senior team
• Minis, Midi and Youths (KYR) now called ‘Saracens’ (affiliated Club)
• A veterans’ team which forms for special occasions
• A large group of registered supporting social members
